Cuzco is a beautiful little town with a population of 300,000 and sits at an altitude of 3300m above sea level. Even the slightest 'workout' or few steps made us catching our breath, however the altitude sickness didn't kick in as we anticipated before, luckily.
The first day we made a few hours trip around the city, visiting inka ruins such as Sacsayhuaman. From there we could see the following amazing landscape:
