The poor and the rich of Medellín

After the party last night we've still managed to make the most out of the day today. Popping over to Zoli's place at noon we've seen how the lucky ones live in Medellín, but in order to discover the other side we had to hop on the Metro and the cable cars.

View from our hotel looking at the amazing mountains surrounding the city

Zoli's apartment is awesome, just look at the view.. and the pool! We'll definitely pop over to cool down in this sweaty 28 degrees... A few more shots from the balcony:

The elevated Metro line is great for sightseeing

Entering the less-so-lucky areas of Medellín..

I guess the target audience for this advert is not the locals

Admiring the amazing scenery

Some nice company in the cable car gondola

Getting off the cable car to soak up the local atmosphere was a brilliant idea, what a mix of colours, vibrant community, music and the smell of eateries everywhere! This is the South America we came for..
